Here's a little ditty I wrote in 2012.
I was camping at Lake Eildon, sitting under the stars, drunk on red goon and surrounded by kangaroos. I whistled and played my ukulele for hours on end that night. I truly needed the escape that weekend.

I started this track yonks ago and was never fully satisfied with the mix. The first tracks were recorded at Woodstock in 2013. The ukulele and some of the vocals from that session remain. Luke Mullan was the engineer
Subsequent vocal harmonies, guitar and synth were done in my bedroom in a house in Coburg. I was studio-less for some time after lving there. I recorded flute and double bass parts at my next home studio in West Preston, adding a lot of effects, removing the sytnth and doing the bulk of the automation.
I kept going back to the track intermittently, whilst working on other music stuff. In the loss of a computer I had to relocate all the audio and re-record the bass myself (sadly the double bass part was lost, but the synth made it back in)
The lead vocal was re-done on 20/8/18 and now I'm satisfied.

Most of what you hear was independently recorded.
